Singalong at the Castro

OK, ignore that I was making fun of going to the Little Mermaid singalong - because it was SO MUCH FUN! My roommates and I went the last night they were playing it. When we arrived, we got goody bags with a crown, bubbles, glow sticks, a "pearl" necklace, and dinglehopper.

This man was playing Disney songs on the piano while we settled in. Loved it. The Castro theater is also a really beautiful building, kind of reminds me of the Orinda theater.

There were two costume contests before the movie began - one for kids and one for adults. It was really a mixed bag of participants, but the theater was packed. It was pretty boisterous throughout, but at one point of relative quiet this guy screamed out: Giiirl, eat something!
